GUINNESS WORLD RECORD: 1ST BIONIC ARM, BASED ON A VIDEOGAME!

It’s completely working! The very first bionic arm based on a videogame.

A very great story of someone entering the Guinness World of Records for the first prosthetic limb based on a videogame. Dan Melville, who was born without his right arm was transformed to a real-life Adam Jensen based from the famous game Deus Ex.

The cyberpunk game series “Deus Ex” is set in a near-futuristic era of transhumanist body upgrades. Dan’s fully functional bionic arm doesn’t allow him to smash through walls, but it’s certainly smashing world records.

“When I was growing up I wanted a bionic hand but they were too expensive”, Dan said.

For the Guinness World Record photoshoot, Dan sported attire similar to Jensen to complete the action hero look, including a long black coat and shades.
